Peluang dan Tantangan Berlakunya UU No. 17 Tahun 2008 Tentang Pelayaran dari Perspektif Bisnis Asuransi

Judul tersebut adalah tema Lokakarya setengah hari yang diadakan oleh Lembaga Pendidikan Widya Dharma Artha disponsori oleh PT. Tugu Pratama Indonesia pada tanggal 5 Agustus 2008 dengan menghadirkan tokoh-tokoh pelayaran yaitu Bapak Oentoro Surya (Arpeni & INSA), Adolf R Tambunan (Ditlala), Muchtar Ali (BKI) dan Sri Hadiah Watie (ABAI)   Walaupun Lokakarya terkesan membosankan karena lebih merupakan sosialisasi UU No.17 Tahun 2008 yang memang baru diundangkan bulan Mei 2008, para pembicara terkesan hanya mengulang-ulang materi yang disampaikan, (pendapat penulis sih…). namun dapat ditarik satu kesimpulan bahwa:   “Dengan diberlakukannya “asas Cabotage” dan “kewajiban ber-asuransi” dalam UU NO. 17 Tahun 2008 tsb memberikan peluang bisnis yang sangat besar bagi perusahaan Asuransi di Indonesia” Full story
